Botanical Gardens

We made our annual trip to the Botanical Gardens in DC this week. It was a much needed break from the chaos of the holidays and warmth from blustery weather. Jack was once again, napping.
Reed loved taking in all of the sights the gardens had to offer.

Thomas was a huge hit!
Peek-a-boo!
Now THIS is what I call a Christmas tree.
It's tough to see, but Reed asked if he could make a wish for Aunt Amy...very sweet.
Happy holidays!

Trick-or-treat!

Our little cowboy and chili pepper got all dressed up and hit the streets begging for candy tonight.

It was a cool and crisp October night, perfect for a stroll around the neighborhood.
When we returned, Reed and Champ surveyed their loot -
and Jack took a load off. Happy Halloween!

Currituck Climb

We definitely stayed busy on our Easter Sunday. After church, we decided to stretch our legs and climb the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.
OK, so Daddy was the one who did the climbing - but we were a great cheering squad!

A view from the top.

If you look closely you will see Mommy and Reed...

and more beautiful sights.
We are thrilled to welcome Spring!

Treat Filled Traditions

The Easter Bunny hopped on by last night and left lots of goodies, musical instruments,
and helpful books!
After church and a nice long nap (hence the wild hair), Reed woke to his very own beach egg hunt.
Can you tell it was a big hit?
Until he unveiled the egg filled with stickers...what kind of 'treat' is this?!

Happy Easter!

Beach Bunny

Yesterday we visited the Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla for an Easter Egg-stravaganza.
We checked out the local fire & rescue truck -and it wasn't long before I was asking to see the big bunny himself.
Or should we say 'herself'. We are pretty certain this was the real Easter Bunny's assistant, but whatever - she was super cute.

We saw lots of fun things - a pony, the Easter bunny in a sack race and I even talked Mommy and Daddy into getting me my first tattoo. Yikes!

My very own frog!
(Mommy has been scrubbing it every chance she gets before church tomorrow).
Happy Easter!

Egg-cellent!

Even though away from home, we couldn't pass up my first year at dying Easter eggs.
Daddy and I worked very hard not to make a mess and to get each one just right...this lasted all of about 7 minutes before I was on to the next thing!

Our little valentine

Valentine's Day arrived and Reed woke up this morning ready to deliver treats.Mom Mom was shocked to get a chocolate heart and even more so that Reed didn't even try to eat it!
Mommy was next ...

a smile that could melt my heart!
Reed also helped Daddy unwrap his valentine ...
and helped himself to a mouthful of chocolate!

Sending love and kisses to ALL our sweeties!

Christmas Morning: Round 2

Christmas was a whirlwind of fun. In fact, it was so much fun that we decided to save Mom Mom and Pop Pop's big gift for the day after Christmas. What a great surprise...my very own trike and gear to go with it!

I have gotten a lot of practice around the living room and I can't wait to hit the payment. Thanks Mom Mom and Pop Pop!

A Prosser Christmas

After a busy morning, a big breakfast and a few power naps - we headed over to Pop Pop and Marion Prosser's for round two.Aside from delicious food and fun company - the kiddos spent most of the time chasing the cats,
and just being plain old silly.
Haley took a quiet break to enjoy her new books -
we had a wonderful day celebrating. Thank you!
